The overarching objective of the GVCA Conference 2024 is to provide a platform for stakeholders across the financing landscape to explore and understand the convergence happening between traditional financing mechanisms like bank lending and equity investments with new, innovative models such as venture capital, private equity, impact investing, and crowdfunding.

By bringing together experts, thought leaders, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs and financial institutions, the conference aims to navigate this complex convergence.

It seeks to identify opportunities, challenges and strategies for effectively bridging traditional and alternative financing to drive growth, maximize returns, mitigate risks, create an enabling environment through policy, and ultimately unlock the full potential of capital for businesses and economies in Ghana and beyond.
